The Coosa Christian Conquerors defeated Lynn 46-29 in the quarterfinals of the playoffs last Friday at home.

The Conquerors enter the game with a 9-4 record.... They were 5-3 on their home turf and 4-1 on the road.

The Conquerors' offense is averaging 33.9 points a game....

Coosa Christian is on a seven game winning streak since losing to Gatlinburg-Pittman TN in week six of the season by a score of 28-24 on the road. During the winning streak the Conquerors have outscored their opponents by an average of 42.9-15.0.

They qualified for the playoffs by finishing 2nd in Class 1A Region 7. The Conquerors were 5-1 in region play.

The Conquerors have made 12 playoff appearances with an overall record of 5-10.... They are 0-2 on the road in the semi-finals. 		The Pickens County Tornados defeated Marion County 40-14 in the quarterfinals of the playoffs last Friday at home.

The Tornados enter the game with a 10-3 record.... They were 6-1 on their home turf and 4-2 on the road.

The Coosa Christian Conquerors have qualified for the playoffs a total of 22 times since 1976. They have won 3 playoff state championships in the history of the school the last coming in 2004.

This is their first playoff appearance since the 2018 season.

The Conquerors will travel to Pickens County this week for a Semi-Finals game at G.S. Spruill Stadium. They are 0-2 in previous years in the Semi-Finals on the road. 		The Pickens County Tornados have qualified for the playoffs a total of 32 times since 1966. They won the only playoff state championship in the history of the school in 2013.

They have reached the playoffs 17 consecutive seasons since 2004.
